We are a woman-led agency in a field where less than 30% of creative directors are female. Yet women are the primary drivers of consumer purchases and charitable giving.
Our viewpoint allows us to do things differently.

Studio Rainwater is an award-winning creative agency based in New England. We are passionate about accomplishing big goals, solving difficult challenges, and doing work that matters. We believe that clear, creative design can help you make a difference in the world.

Over her 20-year career in design, Sarah has worked with organizations large and small to help them creatively engage with their audiences and make a bigger impact.
Sarah founded Studio Rainwater ten years ago after working as a designer and art director in New York and Los Angeles designing for the Guggenheim Museum, Sony, Four Seasons, Paramount Pictures, Time Warner, Reebok and Honda among many others.
She has leveraged this experience in for- and non-profit design and branding to understand how art, technology, and design can forge meaningful human connections and inspire positive change in the world.

Willow studied graphic design and web development at Johnson & Wales University. Her passion lies in using design to create good in the world and moments of wonder.
She manages all of the studio’s digital projects to ensure that the design always translates from concept to final launch.

Before studying graphic design at the Rhode Island School of Design, Minji grew up in the Bay Area. She enjoys motion design and the role it plays in visual design systems.

Partnering with us ensures that your brand will be exciting, cohesive, and engaging across all platforms. From logos to websites to interiors to campaigns, we are devoted to producing results that make the greatest possible impact on your audience.

Before the age of twelve, Sarah had transferred to six different schools prompting a lifetime of thinking about how to find clarity in chaos. For the same reason, she thrives off a good branding and design challenge.
She attended RISD for graphic design and started her career as an intern at Studio Rainwater and has worked with the agency for 9 years.

Elizabeth studied in Montreal and Amsterdam, before landing in Rhode Island to get her MFA in graphic design at RISD.
She’s passionate about design and education; how we can use conversation to see new ideas; and designing to empower.

Growing up, Carol was always making things and taking them apart. She studied Communication Design and worked in New York in advertising before moving to New England to work with her hands building and designing boats.
At Studio Rainwater, Carol supports our team’s day-to-day operations to make sure all our projects run smoothly.
